Reception welcoming PRC Ambassador Consul General Sun Guoxiang

Many thanks to all the distinguished guests who participated in the October 19, 2011 reception welcoming PRC Ambassador Consul General Sun Guoxiang and his colleagues. Special recognition to Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett and Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter for their collaborative messages and commitment to enhancing the relationship between the NY Chinese Consulate and the Philadelphia business and political communities. In addition, special thanks to Xenios Research, LLC Advisor Ken Wong for leading all efforts in what was clearly a very elegant and successful night.

A great new addition to our team.

I am pleased and excited to announce the addition of Mr. Kenneth Wong as an Advisor for Xenios Research. Ken is the President of CIG Asia, Ltd., a national property and casualty insurance brokerage firm and he is currently assisting Xenios Research with several US/ China outreach initiatives and serves as a consultant to many US based companies looking to enter the China market.

Ken served as a Commissioner for President George W. Bush on the President’s Commission for Asian American and Pacific Islanders from 2004 to 2007. Ken is well recognized in the US/China political and business community, both here and abroad, and his expertise and reputation will serve Xenios Research clients well when evaluating new business opportunities in China.

As you know, Xenios Research is committed to attracting knowledgeable and political savvy executives who are experienced in new market expansion, federal regulation/ foreign trade and cultural intangibles influencing business expansion. Ken will play an integral role in assisting our clients as they discern the opportunity vs. cost analysis when determining the best approach with expanding into China.

Ken is leading efforts for our October 19th reception welcoming Ambassador Consul General Sun Guoxiang, Consul General's Office for the People's Republic of China in New York. This is the Consul General's first posting in the U.S. and Ken, Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter, Xenios Research, prominent business executives and potentially the Governor of Pennsylvania will welcome him to Philadelphia.
