Xenios Research LLC Expands Focus on Latin America Latin America has long been an area of great interest to Xenios Research LLC and its clients; we have been actively involved in developing strategies for the region over the last five years. We are involved in assessing mining, energy, finance and biotech projects in the emerging markets of Spanish speaking Latin America as well as in Brazil. Most interesting to our clients has been the shift from North/South political and economic relationships to greater and far reaching ties to the East principally China but also the Mid-East and Russia. Initially commodities driven we are now seeing interesting trends in technology and financial partnerships that will in the mid-term shift the current playing field away from the historical U.S./Western-centric model. While causing concern for some, in the view of Xenios Research LLC and our clients we believe there are intrinsic opportunities to be developed, especially by being involved early on. Our ability to identify the key players and market makers in this vital region is what our clients are looking for us to do. |
